The other day some people and I were talking about the dress of the kids today and how reveling it was and how provocative it is to the opposite sex. Obviously we were talking about high school girls or young women. I said it is all relative to the time period you grow up in. There was a time if girls or young women showed there ankles it was provocative. When I grew up, we wore "tight " sweaters to be "sexy and than along came the mini skirts and that was provocative.
We were discussing this in the view that men couldn't control themselves. I feel that only "sick" men cannot control themselves otherwise old women wouldn't get raped, Babies wouldn't get raped. This type of behavior has nothing to do with sex but control. People ,men or women, who have no power with out control will rape or use sex to control others. People who need this power will "blame " the other person but healthy people will not rape someone else in the need for sex.
Each age or generation feel that there teens or girls dress to sexy but in reality it is just because they become mother's or father's. In the role of parents they become protective of the children and want them protected and don't want them to go through the things they experienced. I think Father's are a little more protective because they know how they treated their dates.

Flying The Friendly Skys
Yes coming back from my vacation I got a taste of flying the friendly skys. I left Boston flying from Providence RI to Greenville SC and I was supposed to land in Greenville at 3:06 PM and I landed at 7:06PM with weather delays and broken airlines. I was happy to land.
In Providence I was watching them change the nose cone on an old beat up small jet and hoping I wouldn't have to take that plane. My flight kept getting delay to NY so my flight to Greenville might be missed. They changed the nose cone and they were doing something with the wires in inside the nose cone. I found out the nose cone had to be replaced because it was cracked. Now remember this was a very old small discolored and looked very beat up. They again announced my flight was delayed but the jet I was watching get repaired was going to NY and we could go to NY on it. I figured well if I got to NY I probably could get to Greenville. so I took it. Inside that aircraft it was just as old and beat up. but it got me to NY.
In NY I went to the gate my plane to Greenville was supposed to take off from gate 7 but it had been switched to gate 2 so I went to gate 2 so I went to that gate to discover it was going to take off one hour late so I got a yogurt at $4.00. much too expensive. and wait . It was raining like crazy in NY and all across the middle of the country and that is what was delaying all the planes. I watched as my plane got later and later. Finally my plane landed from Philly and they announced that as soon as it refueled and did all that kind of stuff and changed flight crew we could start boarding. Five minutes later an announcement came that guess what our plane was broken as soon as they found out what was wrong they would make an announcement this was 2 1/2 hours after it was originally was supposed to take off. thirty minutes later they told us to go to gate 6 as they had gotten us a new plane and we would take off from there.
I went over there and saw the pilot and asked them that the flight now said it would take off at 4:20 was that correct and he said I don't know I thought that was funny. this was three hours late. well we finally all were on the plane at 5pm but the pilot didn't have the paperwork for taking the new airplane so he had to get that. so he wouldn't get accused of stealing the plane so we sat and waited another 10 minutes for that. Finally we taxied to take off but we had to wait to take off until about 5:35 because of all the other planes.
Finally we are on our way but the weather still wasn't finished with us the pilot had to fly around some thunder showers on the way to Greenville,SC When I finally landed in Greenville It was hot and Humid again I was glad to be there but very hungry peanuts and coffee just don't fill you up. I hadn't eaten since breakfast.
Also they kept telling us not to leave the gate area and I had to go to the bathroom so I used the bathroom on an airplane for the first time in my life and that was an experience. I sure don't know how they get two people in one for x-rated activity.

Hot Weather
Finally it is hot in August. So far this summer has not been bad in NC but now the heat is on. In the 90's every day and humid. What you do is stay inside and turn on the air and not move.
You can't put a dome over the city like they did in the Simson movie and make a perfect climate under it. of course the dome had some flaws and that is what an idea of weather control has flaws.
I would want rain and some one else would want sunshine so it would be another excuse for war. On who would have control of the weather. or who got the rain or snow when or maybe we would no longer have snow or winter than the ski industry would complain.
Of course as in Camelot we would have rain but only at night and all seasons but they would be well regulated. No more surprise snow storms or rain storms .
I think that would be rather boring I like surprises myself. Maybe not getting caught in a snow storm or a Hurricane, or tornado, but some times weather unpredictable is fun.
